We're kicking off the day at 9 a.m. with wheeling at Brookridge. We will provide trails for all member rigs that meet the club's trail requirements. These trails are mostly Blue and Black with a sprinkle of red but in small groups we can get any rig through there.
There is a $20 donation per vehicle that is paid to the NEA4WD. The donations go to the land owners and pay the mortgage for the property. You can make the donation online here or pay at the property. Any extra is appreciated and we'll turn over every penny collected.
We will have a driver's meeting at 9:30 a.m. This includes a little information about the property, the trails and general safety on the trails.
Our goal is to then exit the trails at 3 pm so we can air up and get moving to our meeting.
The meeting will be starting at 5 pm at The River's Edge restaurant in Winchendon, MA. Seth has been helping the club with catering and hosting larger meetings after closing for our club, and once just for fun after a wheeling trip. He makes his own potato chips in the restaurant and they are amazing. For all members attending the meeting, the club is buying your dinner!
We have an agenda to get through and elections. The following positions were filled by appointment (volunteering, then voting in by the board) and we're accepting nominations for their positions. Nominations may be for the current person to continue, yourself or another club member.
- Ben Davis is acting Treasurer.
- Lara White is acting Secretary.
- Michael Shook is acting Trails Director
Officers meet a couple times a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. We always meet on the second Monday of the month at 7 pm, then again in two weeks on a Sunday at 5 pm.
Other agenda items scheduled are -
- Treasury Report
- Membership Report
- BesTop Raffle
- Crawl Hauler XJ Trailer Project
- Two Way Radios - They will be on hand and start getting shipped after the meeting.
- Land Use and Trails - Property, Trips, Trails, Work Days, Events
We really hope people make it down, it should be a really fun trip on the trails and a good meeting.
